Summer Storm

Stormy weather can affect landscapes in many ways. Spring hail shredded young tree leaves and beat away at fence stain. Sunday evening's summer storm  blew fence panels into a jigsaw puzzle and opened up our view a bit. Both events brought needed rain and a new look in landscaping.

Don't forget to shut the gate!

The bench on the right came from Ozawkie, KS. It flew to this location from the patio. Unlike a cat it didn't land in this upright position!

Hello world, we used to be tomato plants in a snug little corner with vintage rakes decorating our walls!

Zoe is finding this fence free zone handy for stealing the next door neighbor's dog toys . One gets the feeling that the neighbor views her as undisciplined. Poor Zoe she just wants to be neighborly.
Fortunately nothing was permanently disabled. The first thing Mike set to right was his grill. It achieved an impressive leap to the east for a contraption that size.
