Garden progress is easier to share with photos and pictures are helpful when considering landscape changes. Thus a new post of gardening Texas style! Yes it has been over a year since this landscape went from Bermuda to ornamental. We have survived the worst drought since 19 and something, metroplex heat, a recent hail storm and a golden.  
Evidence of changes that have taken place in the past year - the northwest corner of my garden!

Only a year ago a lonely Eldrica pine moved into the northeast corner of the yard. Now she has friends and an inviting path to walk down.

Red knockouts and Blackfoot daisies highlighted by native stone. Rocks are everywhere in this slice of paradise!


So I made use of cheap materials and fashioned a dry creek bed for drainage. Rock on!
